Get clustering, failover, and more with FirePass hardware
Our FirePass SSL VPN controllers provide secure access to corporate applications and data using a standard Web browser. Multiple FirePass 4100 or 4300 units can be clustered to support large-scale deployments. For high-performance, large-scale clustering, customers can leverage integration with F5's BIG-IP family of products, by offloading SSL termination to BIG-IP so that FirePass can scale to tens of thousands of concurrent sessions in a cluster and maximize the SSL VPN cluster performance.
FirePass controllers can also be configured for failover between pairs of servers, with an active server and a standby server. This keeps users from having to re-logon to another FirePass in case the primary unit fails.

FirePass 4300 SeriesThe FirePass 4300 Controller is a 2U rack-mount server designed for medium-to-large enterprises and service providers.
