Replication
Replication is the process of copying files. These copies can be made either locally or remotely to ensure data availability in the event of accidental deletion, equipment failure, or some other mishap.
The WANJet appliance accelerates replication between storage arrays, providing WAN optimization and traffic shaping through EMC Select, for data centers using EMC's SRDF software.
